In this Middle Ages for Educators video interview, Sarah McDougall talks to Professor Hutchison about creating a story map to explore anti-pollution measures in medieval Paris, France.

This project introduces substantial excerpts from a number of records relating to sanitation issued from the royal government during the reign of Charles VI (r. 1380-1422). All have been translated into modern English. Where possible, the evidence is mapped. The ArcGIS StoryMap can be found online here.
