There are few synthetic treatments of the Psalms in the Middle Ages, although there are many monographs on individual psalters, and many are available in facsimile. Look for Books on The Stuttgart Psalter, the Utrecht Psalter, the St Alban's Psalter, The Paris Psalter, The Luttrell Psalter, The Queen Mary Psalter, the Peterborough Psalter, and many, many more! Secondary Literature might go out of style, but these mighty books never will.
